Issue No. 1 — A trip, in four moves

Idea to itinerary,
in four moves.

"No spreadsheets. No tabs. No copy-paste from a chat thread."
01 Tell it
01 / 04

One sentence is enough.

"Week in Lisbon for a wedding." AI asks 2-3 missing things — dates, who is going, what you like — then stops asking.

One sentence is enough.
02 See it
02 / 04

A real schedule, not a wall of text.

Day-by-day stages, photo headers, drag to reorder, mark done as you go. Always one tap deep.

A real schedule, not a wall of text.
03 Walk it
03 / 04

Real Apple Maps, numbered pins.

Photos and ratings from Google Places per stop. One tap deep-links into Apple or Google Maps — no copy-paste of addresses.

04 Capture it

Snap a ticket — fields fill themselves.

Upload-and-scan reads the date, time, code, expiry. The original PDF or photo stays attached to the trip.

Not a read-only page this time — the actual trip, inside their app. Send one link, and whoever opens it plans with you: they add stages, fix times, tick things off. Every change lands on both phones.

1
Send a link or show a QR
Tap Invite, hand over the link. It opens straight into their app. Invites expire after 7 days.
2
They edit too
Both of you work on the same trip. No "let me send you the new version".
3
Stop any time
Remove someone, or stop sharing entirely. The trip leaves their phone — but they've already seen it, so invite people you'd hand the itinerary to anyway.
🔒 Never leaves your phone
🎫Booking references 💳Ticket prices 🪪Passenger names 📄Scanned documents

Whoever books it, keeps it. Companions see the flight and the hotel — never the confirmation number, the price, or the passport you scanned. The trip itself is stored encrypted, and deleted 180 days after you get back.

Ideas live in a chat.
A trip lives in an app.

ChatGPT is brilliant for brainstorming. But a trip is something you open at the gate, on the plane, on the metro — when chat history is the last place you want to scroll.

Things you'll probably ask.

14 answers
01. Is the app on the App Store? +

Yes — PlanToTrip is live on the App Store. Tap any "Get the App" button on this page to open it on the App Store and download.

02. Do I need to create an account? +

No. There is no PlanToTrip account or login — not even to plan a trip together with someone. Your trip data lives on your device, unless you invite someone to a trip, which stores an encrypted copy on our servers so both phones can sync it.

03. Can I cancel and get a refund? +

Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions you can cancel any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on iOS. Refund requests are handled by Apple — see Apple's refund support page.

04. How do I restore my purchase on a new device? +

Sign in with the same Apple ID and tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall. Your subscription transfers automatically.

05. Does it work without an internet connection? +

Yes — browsing, editing, and following your plan all work offline. AI features (planning, chat, document scanning, route building) require connection.

06. Does it sync with my Apple Calendar? +

Not at the moment. Calendar integration is on the roadmap — for now your trip schedule lives entirely inside PlanToTrip, with native push reminders for each task.

07. What about scanned tickets and documents? +

When you scan a hotel voucher, ticket, or passport page, the image is sent to our backend once, solely for real-time AI field extraction (dates, addresses, prices). The file is never stored on our servers — the original stays only on your device, protected by iOS encryption.

08. Which languages are supported? +

English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian — the app follows your iPhone's language automatically. More languages are on the roadmap.

09. iPhone only? What about iPad and Mac? +

iPhone-first, with a native iPad layout — the app runs full-screen on iPad, not in compatibility mode. A native Mac version is on the roadmap.

10. Does it sync between devices? +

Not yet. Your trips are stored on your iPhone, so they do not currently follow you to another Apple device — cross-device sync is on the roadmap. Your subscription does transfer: sign in with the same Apple ID and tap "Restore Purchases".

11. Can I share my trip with friends or family? +

Two ways, both free. A read-only link turns the trip into a private web page — stages, day-by-day plan, route photos, progress — that anyone can open in a browser; it is unguessable, hidden from search engines, optionally expiring, and you can update or revoke it any time. Or invite them into the app, and you plan the trip together: they edit it too and every change syncs to both phones. Either way, booking references, ticket prices, passenger names and scanned documents stay on the device of whoever added them.

12. Who can see what on a shared trip? +

People you invite see the itinerary: stages, tasks, activities, routes, and your notes on them. Bookings show only the route, times, flight number and hotel — the confirmation number, the price, the passenger names and any scanned document never leave the phone of whoever added the booking; they are not part of the synced trip at all. Invite links expire after 7 days, and you can remove someone or stop sharing at any time — the trip then leaves their phone too, though they have already seen it, so invite people you would hand your itinerary to anyway.

13. Where is a shared trip stored? +

A trip you never share stays on your iPhone. The moment you invite someone, a copy is stored on our servers so both phones can sync it — encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM, with the key wrapped by Google Cloud KMS) and deleted automatically 180 days after the trip ends. Stop sharing and it is removed sooner. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

14. What data do you collect? +

Trip content you create, document files you scan or attach, country/city you set in onboarding, crash logs, subscription state, and anonymous product-analytics events (which screens and actions you use — never trip content). You can switch analytics off in Settings → "Share usage data". We do not collect your email, phone, contacts, photo library, or location. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
